Honed tube is widely utilized as hydraulic cylinder tube to manufacture and mend hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders, it is known as hydraulic cylinder barrel also.

Honed steel tubes normally are manufactured by honing process or skiving & roller burnishing process, using “Suitable To Hone” CDS tube (which is Cold Drawn Seamless Tubes). The processing of the honed pipe is determined by the size, mold available and the request of the customer.

Our honed tubes usually are made from grades SAE 1020, SAE 1026, E355 and ST52.3, we also produce honed cylinder tubes in other high strength alloy steels such as 4140 hydraulic cylinder barrel and stainless steels upon customers’ requirements.
