TCPP, whose chemical name is Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate, is an organic phosphorus halide flame retardant. Good hydrolytic stability, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, lipids, aromatic hydrocarbons and chloroform. Has good resistance to ultraviolet rays. |
Uses |
Widely used in soft and rigid polyurethane foam, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, phenolic resin and epoxy resin. It can be used directly or made into an emulsion, used for carpets, raincoats, fabric finishing, rubber products, etc., and can also be used as an additive for fire retardant coatings. |
