It is light-yellow crystalline powder, hardly dissolve in cool-water, fairly easy to dissolve in hot water. Dissolve easily in acid, alkali and organic solvent. Little dissolves in alcohol and benzene, dissolving in ethyl ether, petroleum ether.

Be mainly used in producing materials of 揳ntipyrine, 揳minopyrine, 揳nalgin. Be also used in 揳cid chrome bordeaux BN 揳cid chrome orange LR 損igment orange 13 揹ykolite brilliant yellow 3R(SDC) 揳cid chrome orange RL(Roum) 揺richrome red B(CGY)
